The Attitude almost captures SWF Championship...
(2/20/2001)

Tuesday February 20, 2001:
Friday February 9, 2001, The Attitude Andy Runyon nearly regained the SWF Heavyweight Championship once again at February Free For All. Runyon, who was not even scheduled to compete for the strap that night, was added to the championship match between Trik Nasty and Dregen after the three men had had an altercation earlier in the night. The resulting three way dance was nothing short of awesome! Here's what happened...

The co-main event of Free For saw Dregen, Attitude Andy Runyon, and Trik Nasty all battle it out in a wild three-way dance for the SWF Heavyweight Championship. These three went at it like rabid wolverines, with no one being able to get the clear advantage. Runyon and Nasty started out by trying to one-up each other by hitting moves on Dregen. Everytime one man would go for the cover, the third man would break it up. At one point Dregen had The Attitude in trouble on the top rope and was attempting a top rope huricanrana. Nasty went to the ropes and attempted to suplex both men, but only got Dregen...leaving Runyon tangled upside down in the ropes. Nasty went back for Runyon, who was now on the ring apron, and Runyon hit a sling-shot sunset flip and almost got the three count. Dregen breaks the count, and begins to work on Runyon. Runyon comes back and hits Dregen with a massive powerbomb and goes for the cover. Nasty is on the top rope and hits The Nasty Bomb (Swanton Bomb) onto both men, and makes the cover. Trik Nasty retains the title in one of the wildest matches that I have ever seen.

Post match, The Mastermind motions for his troops to come to the ring. Tank and Zodiak come in, and the entire Army of Darkness begins pounding on Runyon and Nasty. Heartbreaker Jay Vastine and Kid Sensation Chris Smith make the save and fight with the AoD, sending them scampering to the entrance way. The Mastermind gets the mic and challenges The Attitude & the rest of The Outlaws to a six-man tag match on February 23, in which the man who gets pinned must leave whichever team he is on forever.
